To fill the void left by the closure of Divi Craig Burhart, dive master, instructor and boat captain with Reef Divers and with Divi Tiara until their closure, opened InDepth Watersports in December, 2006. InDepth Watersports is a new dive operation that is presently operating from the Divi dock. InDepth is operating a 40-foot Topaz Sportfisher equipped with an air conditioned cabin, full galley and marine "head". The boat has a large foredeck for those divers that want to get a little sun time in as well as plenty of room aft to gear-up. The boat is also rigged for deep-sea fishing and its no problem to drop a line and try and catch dinner on the trip home from Little Cayman or the east end of Cayman Brac. Craig will be catering to smaller groups of divers that are interested in a more flexible diving experience. Deja Vu will comfortably accommodate groups of up to 12 divers. Lost City of Atlantis submerged on North side of the Brac near Radar Reef Foots, an artist and Cayman Brac resident, is creating a series of sculptures that will become his own version of the Lost City of Atlantis. The first phase of this artificial reef has been sunk off the north side of Cayman Brac, near Radar Reef. This first phase consists of the Archway of Atlantis and the Elders' Way. The Archway is made-up of two columns on bases weighing 21,000 lbs each supporting a cross-beam. The Elders' Way is a series of five-foot columns marking the way to the Inner Circle of Light. The Inner Circle is defined by eleven columns surrounding a Sundial. The Sundial weighs 2,600 lbs and is supported by a 5,600 lb base.
